rest? Personal training is designed for people who
want to exercise efficiently, SAFELY and with results.
My personal training program is designed to keep workouts fresh and
interesting, hopefully fun, and it is all about YOU.
What we do:
I work with clients to improve flexibility, increase
increase strength. These three elements are the building blocks of
any general fitness program. Stability training, resistance
training, suspension training and cardio respiratory training are just
some of the components we will incorporate in your training program.
How we do it:
Establish your goals and design a fitness program with those specific
criteria as a guide. Establish a training schedule and plan to
implement. Your progress is documented and monitored. We
also schedule periodic meetings to discuss progress and current
For your personal training program to be effective you have to be a
proactive participant. To succeed you must know "why". I am
passionate about this process and honestly want to work with clients who
really want to make positive change in their lives. I will
teach you about exercising effectively and safely, I will teach you about
the importance of proper nutrition, and one of the most overlooked aspects
of a successful fitness program - rest and recovery. This plan
is not for individuals just going through the motions. My
training program is for those who truly want to see results.
Keeping it real:
Certain segments of the fitness industry, weight loss industry and the
media have put out so much information that is just plain garbage.
We will go over the myths and discuss realistic expectations.
I want you to succeed! And honestly, this process is much
easier than you might realize. All you need are the
correct tools and motivation. I will tell you what is
real and possible, not what you want to hear.
How to get started:
-Schedule fitness assessment, body composition, and
nutrition assessment consultation.
-Client and trainer will discuss goals and agree upon a
plan of action.
-Scheduled workout sessions are agreed upon.
-Each session is one (1) hour.
-Once a week your progress will be evaluated with
feedback and guidance from Barb.
Included in every program are a
nutritional intake evaluation and a meal plan
consultation. It is true, “you are what you eat”.
I teach a healthy eating habit lifestyle
outside of the gym that’s not too
drastic, mostly just better food choices.
Remember, a healthy nutritional lifestyle
is 60 to 70% of the success of your fitness goals.
